Here’s something I’ve been working on with the team at Health & Safety Mentor, and I’m pretty proud of it.
HSMApp helps retail teams keep on top of their health and safety jobs: daily checks, staff inductions, toolbox talks, documents and the occasional “have you put the umbrella stands out?” reminder.
It’s being rolled out to retail brands across the UK. I’ve recorded a quick walkthrough so you can see how it works.
We start in the shop, where managers can see what needs doing and crack on. Then we switch to head office, with a view across the stores and the detail behind missing checks, overdue servicing and outstanding acknowledgements.
This is the sort of work I enjoy: understanding how a business operates, then building something that makes the everyday jobs easier.
